For those choosing to parent… In addition to Pregnancy Services and STD Testing, Oasis supports your parenting journey through many channels.
Preparing for Baby Support
Take advantage of Preparing for Baby Support which offers new moms and dads hands-on education about labor and delivery, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Participants will earn Baby Bucks which can be used to shop in our Baby Boutique. You will attend four sessions that are held once a week until the course is complete. Sessions are offered periodically throughout the year.
If you attend four sessions of either Preparing for Baby Support or Parenting Foundations, you will receive a FREE 3D/4D Ultrasound. That is a $150-$200 value!
Parenting Foundations
Parenting Foundations is open to all parents of non-adult children, as well as expectant parents. Attendees learn foundations that support good parenting. Participants will earn Baby Bucks which can be used to shop in our Baby Boutique. You will attend four sessions that are held once a week until the course is complete. Sessions are offered periodically throughout the year.

Breastfeeding Support
Breastfeeding your baby can lower your risk of diabetes, death from breast cancer or ovarian cancer, stroke and high blood pressure. Breastfeeding also has many benefits for baby. It helps them build a strong immune system and has the perfect formulation for your baby’s development.
Oasis has an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) on staff to meet with you one-on-one to help you successfully breastfeed your baby. Set up a meeting BEFORE your baby is born to learn what to expect in the first few days, best practices and the answers to all of your questions. Our lactation consultant can also meet with you after your baby’s birth to help with any problems encountered while breastfeeding your baby.
One By One Mentor
Being a mom can be exciting, but scary, especially if you don’t have lots of support from friends and family. Oasis Medical Center and the One By One organization can help! Moms are matched with mentors that walk with them through their pregnancy and the first year of their baby’s life. Expectant moms meet with mentors monthly. During these times together, mentors share tools to help moms parent well. Mentors are there to listen and provide friendship and support.
